A hands-on playroom design and organisation service for families who would like a thoughtfully created play environment that supports their child’s development, interests and everyday family life.

Step 1 Understanding Your Child & Family

The process begins with an in-home visit to understand your child, your family and how the space is currently being used.

A personalised parent consultation to discuss routines, priorities and goals

Guided play and observation to understand your child’s interests, natural way of playing and developmental stage

A review of the existing toys, materials, furniture and storage

A follow-up discussion to reflect on observations and agree on the best direction for the space

Step 2 Personalised Planning & Preparation

Following the visit, I dedicate a separate planning and preparation day to your project.

I create a personalised playroom plan based on your child’s development, interests and family lifestyle.

I review existing toys and resources to make the most of what you already have

I research and source suitable toys, open-ended materials, furniture and storage where needed

I plan purposeful play areas, organisation and a practical toy rotation system

I prepare personalised play and developmental guidance for your family

All additional purchases are discussed and approved with you before ordering.

Step 3 Bringing the Playroom to Life

I return to your home to organise and set up the new environment.

Purposeful play areas are created using a thoughtful combination of existing and new resources

Storage and toy rotation systems are introduced to make the space easier to use and maintain

With your permission, toys your child has outgrown or no longer needs can be removed and passed on to other families or donated to charity

The service finishes with a family introduction to the new playroom and practical guidance on how to use, maintain and adapt the space as your child grows.

An exclusive follow-up service for existing clients who would like continued support as their child grows and their interests, abilities and developmental needs evolve.

I will revisit your child’s play environment, review what is still working and recommend thoughtful adjustments for their next developmental stage.

This may include refreshing existing play areas, updating toy rotation, developmental guidance and recommendations for new materials or resources.

The aim is to help the environment continue to grow alongside your child, without the need for a complete redesign.
